‘ECCO LEATHER teamed up again to create invader leather, a one-of-a-kind quilted leather that is the perfect meeting point between material innovations and Stone Island’s experimental design codes’.

The material was made trough an artistic approach of exploring contradictions. Light weight yet heavy and puffy looking, because of the memory foam. Using a quilting technique normally used in textile but with a leather surface where the pattern is seen, but no stitching because the stitching is on the inside. Fusing not two but three materials together as a sandwich that becomes one because of the fusing process. So many layers together yet still soft. Making a leather that looks modern and timeless and alien like all in once.
