‘A collection of ceramic vases’ 

STUDIOSAMLINDERS is a creative studio that constantly experiments with materials, techniques and shapes. 

These balloon vases draw inspiration from real balloons. Crafted by Sam using two layers of clay delicately pressed together, they begin as flat shapes with a single opening. Similar to a balloon waiting to be inflated, air is blown into the opening, causing the clay to expand and transform into a unique form. Each vase’s shape is determined by the air blown into it, resulting in individuality and a spontaneous charm. Once shaped, the vases are finished with a glaze on the inside, showcasing the natural beauty of the clay on the outside.
